Groupe ALLEN Joins Pomerleau

Montreal-based Pomerleau recently announced its acquisition of Groupe ALLEN. Groupe ALLEN is a Quebec-based general contractor specializing in water treatment, process mechanics, directional drilling, formwork and earthworks for nearly 80 years.

This transaction brings together two well-established Quebec companies that share a common ambition for long-term growth and a culture rooted in collaboration, trust, respect, and excellence.

Investment needs in water infrastructure are expected to continue growing over the coming decades. This is due to aging assets, population growth, and evolving environmental requirements. By combining their complementary expertise, Pomerleau and Groupe ALLEN will be better positioned to support communities in the modernization of these essential infrastructure assets.

The ALLEN Group is now a subsidiary of Pomerleau and will continue to build on the strengths that have contributed to its success. It will continue operating under its own name, with its existing leadership team and management remaining in place.

Following the receipt of all required approvals and the satisfaction of all closing conditions, the transaction has been completed. Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. acted as mergers and acquisitions advisor to the sellers in connection with the transaction.
