Submit Projects for the 2026 No-Dig North Canadian Project of the Year Award
The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) is now accepting submissions for the 2026 Canadian Project of the Year Award. The award recognizes outstanding trenchless technology projects that demonstrate innovation, technical excellence, and meaningful contributions to advancing trenchless methods across Canada.
Projects located in Canada or Canadian Territories that have been completed, or are scheduled for completion, since the previous No-Dig North conference are eligible for consideration. Nominations must include a current NASTT corporate or individual member.
The award celebrates projects that push the industry forward through creative problem-solving, exceptional engineering, and successful execution. Entries will be evaluated on five key criteria: uniqueness, difficulty of design and construction, innovation, overall impression, and quality of submission.
Winning projects typically demonstrate significant technical achievement, overcome complex challenges, introduce meaningful innovations, and deliver measurable technical, environmental, social, or economic benefits. Clear, professional presentation is also a critical component of a successful submission.
Applicants are required to submit a detailed online project description covering project background, objectives, challenges, design approach, execution, innovation, quality control, risk management and outcomes. Supporting project photos are required, and video links may also be included.
Winners will be announced at No-Dig North 2026 in Calgary, Alberta. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 4, 2026.
