The Keynote Address was presented by Dr. Sam Ariaratnam, ISTT chairman and professor at Arizona State University. Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati offered welcoming remarks.

The conference saw attendees from many areas of the world. The two-day, three-track technical conference included 77 papers presented on topics including pipeline planning and design, construction and rehabilitation, materials, geotechnical considerations, inspection and condition assessment, asset management and sustainability. Attendees came through the exhibition area to visit the 50 exhibitors who were displaying the latest in technology and innovation for the trenchless industry. The show also saw live equipment demos by LiquiForce and Wolseley Engineered Pipe, giving attendees a hands-on approach to some of the new technology that is available.
