AM-Liner East Joins NORDIPIPE Licensee Group
November 22, 2011
AM-Liner East, Inc., a leader in the trenchless industry, is the newest member of the NORDIPIPE licensee family. The Northern Virginia-based company is the fourth licensee of NORDIPIPE, a trenchless technology for the rehabilitation of water mains.
With AM-Liner on board, the NORDIPIPE group now also focuses on Virginia and North Carolina in addition to states already covered by the North American team.
SEKISUI NordiTube, manufacturer of NORDIPIPE, and AM-Liner signed the licensee agreement in May 2011. George Gerz, East Coast sales manager SEKISUI NordiTube, Inc., sees AM-Liner as a strong addition to the group: “AM-Liner is a recognized leader in the trenchless pipe rehabilitation business on the east coast with over 7 million ft of CIPP installations; they are committed to providing quality products and services to their clients. We are very excited that they have joined the team and we look forward to developing opportunities with them.”
AM-Liner East is the fourth installation partner in the NORDIPIPE group in North America joining: AquaRehab (Quebec, Canada); Spiniello Companies (headquartered in New Jersey); and Michels Corp. (Wisconsin). These licensed construction companies apply extensive cumulative expertise in the water main rehabilitation and the relining of sewer pipe systems to solve underground infrastructure challenges.
Since March 2010, the NORDIPIPE drinking water liner has been in production at the Hammond, La., plant. Now meeting the growing customer demand in North America, NORDIPIPE has already proven itself in the rehabilitation of drinking water pipeline with more than 1 million ft of cost-effective installed liner.
