Aegion Corp. Awarded More Than $16M in Wastewater Pipeline Rehabilitation Contracts
Aegion Corp. recently announced that its subsidiary, Insituform Technologies LLC, has been awarded wastewater pipeline rehabilitation contracts valued at $16.2 million in Maryland and Colorado.
On Sept. 16 the company announced a $6.9 million contract from Baltimore County, Maryland. Insituform will rehabilitate more than 23,000 ft of 30- to 60-in. wastewater pipelines in residential and commercial areas throughout Baltimore County as well as near the Martin State Airport, a joint civil-military public use airport located near the central business district of Baltimore. Insituform has successfully completed several large projects in Baltimore County since 2011 totaling nearly $17 million.
Installation will begin in November 2019 and is expected to be completed within two years.
On Sept. 18, Aegion announced that Insituform was awarded a $9.3 million contract from the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (MWRD) in Denver to rehabilitate more than 14,000 ft of 8- to 90-in. diameter wastewater pipelines. Insituform expects to begin the work in September 2019 and complete the project within 12 months.
