As the year comes to a close it provides a time of reflection. With that in mind, we thought it would be interesting to look back on what we’ve posted to Trenchless Technology’s website in the last year.
These best-of style blog posts provide a chance to look at the great things that happened in the last 365 days or even catch up on some news or stories you missed.
To keep it simple, this review only looks at the most visited stories that were added to trenchlesstechnology.com from December 2023 to December 2024. We start with No. 10 and wrap things up at the bottom with No. 1.

6 – Guiding the Way – Wireless Horizontal Directional Drilling in North Dakota
In summer 2022, the North Dakota Soybean Processors in a joint venture formed by CGB Enterprises Inc. and Minnesota Soybean Processors broke ground on a soybean crushing plant in Casselton, North Dakota. To address the demand for water to the plant, a pioneering solution was devised: construction of two parallel HDPE pipelines spanning more than 26 miles. Read More

2 – Trenchless Technology’s Top 50 Trenchless Engineering Firms – 2023 Survey Analysis
2023 marked Trenchless Technology’s 28th survey and ranking of the Top 50 Trenchless Engineering Firms in North America, compiled from revenue and project data submitted by engineering companies. Looking at trenchless revenue in North America, the Top 50 firms collectively reported more than $1.728 billion in trenchless design work, a 13.1 percent increase over the 2022 survey. Read More
