The Vortex Companies, a leading trenchless rehabilitation industry solutions provider, has completed the acquisition of Livermore, Maine-based, The Ted Berry Company, a leading New England area trenchless rehabilitation solutions provider.
Ted Berry has built an excellent reputation for providing exceptional service leveraged by its team’s depth of experience within the trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation market.
“Strategically, this acquisition makes a lot of sense for us,” said Mike Vellano, CEO of Vortex Companies. “The combination of our added services and Ted Berry’s experience further fortifies our position in the industry.”
Ted Berry provides services to both municipal and industrial customers throughout New England. The company’s core service groups include municipal utility services, industrial cleaning services, trenchless pipe rehabilitation and CCTV pipeline inspection.
“This is an exciting day for Ted Berry. In my experience with Vortex, they have always placed a high value on being a quality driven trenchless solutions provider,” said Matt Timberlake, president of Ted Berry. “It’s a good fit for us and we look forward to continuing to serve our existing customer base, as well as now having the ability to offer expanded trenchless services.”
Ted Berry’s approach to business, dedication to quality and its history of success played a key role in the acquisition.
“Matt and the Ted Berry team are well respected throughout the country. Over the last forty-five years, not only did they build a reputation for excellent service, but a loyal customer base as well,” Vellano said. “It is our goal to expand on their accomplishments by delivering even more trenchless services and solutions in the Northeast.”
With strategic acquisitions planned for 2019, the Vortex Companies remains focused on its vision of providing a broad range of intelligent and economical trenchless infrastructure renewal solutions, supported by highly experienced and trained personnel.
