Vortex Companies Acquires Cincinnati-based MCSP

Houston-based Vortex Companies announces the growth of its geotechnical services platform with the acquisition of Municipal & Contractors Sealing Products LLC.

Municipal & Contractors Sealing Products (MCSP) is a Cincinnati-based trenchless services provider. It specializes in the rehabilitation of pipelines, manholes, culverts, tunnels and other critical water and wastewater infrastructure.

“MCSP has earned its reputation by safely and cost-effectively rehabilitating municipal storm water and sanitary sewer systems for more than two decades,” says Mike Vellano, CEO of Vortex Companies. “The combination of technical capability, field experience and customer trust is difficult to replicate. Bringing MCSP into Vortex gives us a stronger foundation in the Midwest and more ways to solve complex problems for the customers we serve.”

The company was founded in 2000 by Bob O’Connor. It has spent more than 25 years refining specialized rehabilitation methods for municipalities and utilities across the United States.
