Trenchless Technology Road Show Visits Jacksonville, Fla.

The Trenchless Technology Road Show made its final stop of 2011 in Jacksonville, Fla., Nov. 8-9.

The Trenchless Technology Road Show attracted 160 attendees and 20 exhibitors to the conference location at the University of North Florida. The first day featured local presentations by JEA, which is the primary sewer and water provider in the area. Additionally, the Alliance for PE Pipe hosted an evening reception following the presentations that was well attended and appreciated by the attendees.

There was also a presentation by Ryan Schmitt, who is Chairman of the Board for the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA). For the first time, the Trenchless Technology Road Show co-located with the NASTT HDD Good Practices course, which had 20 registrants for the day-long session on Day 2. Four outdoor demos rounded out the activities, presented by the Alliance for PE Pipe, SpectraShield Liner Systems, Vermeer Corp. and NozzTeq Inc.

Trenchless Technology Road Shows for 2012 are planned for Niagara Falls (June 5-6) and Wilmington, Ohio, (September). For more information, visit www.trenchlessroadshows.com.
