Pipeline Plastics LLC Building New Manufacturing Facility

Pipeline Plastics LLC is expanding its high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe operations with a new manufacturing facility in West Texas.

Construction of a 40,000-sq ft, state-of-the-art facility will begin soon on a 15-acre site in the Levelland, Texas, Rail Park, with production of HDPE pipe expected by the end of 2014. The total project will include up to $10 million in new capital and will employ up to 40 employees.

This is the third location to be opened in as many years following the 2011 commissioning of Pipeline Plastics’ first location in Decatur, Texas, and its second facility in Belle Fourche, S.D., last year. The new plant will primarily serve the region’s energy market, although water, sewer, irrigation, mining, and industrial applications are also planned markets for this facility.

“We have positioned Pipeline Plastics for growth in the markets we serve by continuing to provide our customers with excellent service and exceptional  product  quality,  which  are  both  key  components  of our  business  model.  As a result, demand for our products is very strong,” said Pipeline Plastics president and CEO Monty Fisher.
HDPE pipe is the preferred product for use in many applications due to its toughness, corrosion resistance, ease of installation, and heat fused joints, the press release said.
