Snap, Share, Win: Enter Epoxytec’s Summer Manhole Cover Challenge
Who’s ready for the Summer Manhole Cover Challenge — with a chance to win some cold hard cash? You can win just for snapping a photo of your favorite manhole cover!
The 2026 Summer Manhole Cover Challenge, created by Epoxytec, encourages you to explore your surroundings. Celebrate the unique, often-overlooked manhole covers that quietly serve our cities’ infrastructure.
Believe it or not, there are some seriously cool covers out there. Just take a look at the growing number of photos being shared across social media. From intricate designs in unexpected locations, people have started noticing the unique character of manhole covers around the world. What began as a lighthearted idea has evolved into a global collection. Submissions are rolling in from travelers, infrastructure professionals, and even curious passersby. The challenge was spearheaded by Epoxytec marketing manager Silvia Caputi. She helped turn this simple concept into a celebration of our industry.
“Epoxytec has been organizing the Summer Manhole Cover Challenge for years. Due to its growing popularity, we decided to kick things up a notch this year,” says Caputi. “We’re proud of the work we do, and this challenge is a fun way to celebrate the industry we serve. It’s also a nod to the dedicated individuals who keep it running. Past submissions have come in from nearly every continent, and we’re excited to see where the challenge takes us next.”
The challenge runs from July 1-31. All you have to do is snap a photo of your favorite manhole (showing your feet and/or furry friends for authenticity) and send it in, using this link: epoxytec.com/2026/06/15/epoxytec-2026-summer-manhole-cover-challenge
Every submission will receive exclusive Epoxytec summer merchandise, and the grand prize winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
