The Midas Companies Hires New Chief Financial Officer
The Midas Companies added Amanda Raman to its senior executive team as the chief financial officer.
In her role, Raman will be responsible for fully aligning finance, accounting and operations to best support the company’s strategic initiatives. She will also support a variety of transformative business initiatives as the company continues to expand geographically and adds new end markets and services.
Headquartered in Capitol Heights, Maryland, The Midas Companies offers a comprehensive portfolio of rehabilitation services and products for critical water, wastewater and industrial pipe infrastructure throughout the Mid-Atlantic and southern region states.
Raman has more than 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, human resources and marketing within the construction, transportation and healthcare industries. She most recently served as the CFO for Shapiro & Duncan, a large mechanical contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. Previous roles include financial management roles within Amtrak as well as Al Hayat Polyclinic.

Raman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from George Mason University. Additionally, she is both a board-certified Public Accountant and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional. Raman lives in the Washington D.C. metropolitan region with her husband and son.
