IVO Systems Receives $1.5 Million in Seed Funding
IVO Systems, a construction operations platform, has closed a $1.5 million seed round, led by TitletownTech with participation from select customers like Woods Dirt Contractors, of Oklahoma and Eramo & Sons, Ohio. With the new capital, the company intends to make product enhancements and hire for roles in marketing, sales, and software development.
IVO Systems was purpose-built in 2019 by Eric Christensen and Bob Lien. Together, with more than 30 years of combined experience in the construction industry, Eric and Bob set out to solve a problem they were all too familiar with, closing the information gap between the field and office.
“When Bob and I were working in the industry, we saw a lot of complicated estimating and accounting-first software failing to properly manage construction operations,” said Christensen, IVO Systems president and co-founder. “We set out to create easy-to-use software that was built specifically for construction operations.”
On a mission to provide the civil construction industry with easy-to-use software solutions that empower companies to close the information gap, IVO Modules currently include equipment tracking and dispatching, aggregating telematics data, employee scheduling, preventative maintenance and work orders, custom equipment inspection forms, and equipment rental management.
“IVO Systems is where innovation meets infrastructure, and we’re thrilled to be a part of shaping the future of construction through our investment,” said Cordero Barkley, TitletownTech partner. “It’s not just about bricks and mortar anymore; it’s about data-driven efficiency and real-time collaboration.”
IVO Systems is trusted by Midwest Mole, Iowa Trenchless, Bore Master, New Berlin Grading and others that span across the United States and world.
“Honestly, it’s really been a lifesaver around here lately… it’s changed everything we’ve been able to accomplish,” said Bob Baier, sop superintendent, New Berlin Grading.
