Cusco Names New Technical Sales Manager
Custom truck-mounted vacuum manufacturer Cusco recently announced that Blaine Simon joined the company as its technical sales manager.
From lead operator to account manager, Simon has previously worked in the heavy equipment sector, specializing in sales and water and sewer construction. Prior to Cusco, Simon worked as a territory manager for an online heavy equipment rental site and was responsible for building account partnerships with OEM dealerships and independent contractors.
With a business diploma from Niagara College, Simon was selected to take part in an intensive Tech Sales Training Course at Communitech in Kitchener/Waterloo, often referred to as Canada’s Silicon Valley. In his new role, Simon will utilize his expertise in the marketing and selling of Cusco products.
As technical sales manager, Simon will be responsible for growing new and existing business accounts with dealers and end-users. The addition of Simon’s position is part of Cusco’s plan to offer the most reliable vacuum equipment, innovative product solutions, and superior customer service.
“We are very pleased to have Blaine on board,” says John Defenbaugh, president of Wastequip’s mobile division. I believe as technical sales manager at Cusco, Blaine will play an integral role ensuring that our company continues to re-invent itself and be at the forefront of vacuum truck innovation.”
Headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, Cusco is part of Wastequip, the leading North American manufacturer of waste-handing equipment. Cusco has a nearly 50-year history of engineering and manufacturing premium truck-mounted vacuum units for use in the oil & gas, utilities and industrial markets.
