CUIRE to Hold Certification Schools in January

CUIRE will be conducting several certification schools in January. Below is the schedule of events for courses Jan. 25-26 in Houston at the Hilton Americas:

Sunday, Jan. 25
8 am to 12 pm


Pipe School: Applications, advantages and limitations of each type of pipe, such as steel, ductile iron, vitrified clay, PVC, HDPE, fiber glass, etc., and new developments in pipe materials and jointing systems.

Geotechnical School: Geotechnical requirements for both trenchless and open-cut applications. Soft soils and rock investigations methods, and how ground conditions will impact trenchless feasibility and productivity. Case studies will include several projects from inception to completion and delivery.

Afternoon—1 pm to 5 pm
Mud School for Trenchless Technology: Session will provide attendees everything they need to know to properly mix and apply drilling fluids for trenchless applications, including spoil removal and lubrication applications.
Horizontal Auger Boring School:  Planning, design, construction of conventional pipe jacking and horizontal auger boring. Includes pipe ramming.

Monday, Jan. 26
8 am to 5 pm


Advanced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) School: Planning, design, construction, of large, mid and small size HDD projects from inception to closeout and delivery. Includes, tracking and locating, pipe loads, bore planning, drilling fluids, and case studies.

8 am to 12 pm
Pipe Lining and Renewal School: Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and pipe lining methods. Includes planning, design, construction, inspection and QA/QC.

1 pm to 5 pm
Pilot Tube Microtunneling School: Planning, design and construction of pilot tube microtunneling. Includes case studies.
 
Registration at above courses includes provides a copy of the book, Trenchless Technology: Planning, Equipment and Methods. Also, upon course completion, you will receive up to 1.3 CEUs and 14 PDHs, as well as wallet-size certification and PDFs of all presentations.
