CIPP Corp., Hudson, Iowa, announced at WEFTEC.08 the achievement of an exclusive license granted by BKP Berolina, Berlin, Germany, to the pipelining group. CIPP will represent BKP exclusively in the United States for the Lightspeed process for cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) through the UV light cure technique. This process is quickly becoming the preferred system of renovating pipelines in Europe. CIPP Corp. has 12 licensees in the United States that can now perform the Lightspeed process. This agreement makes CIPP contractors the only providers of both technologies in the United States.
