Application Deadline Nears for New UESI Awards
To gain more recognition for the work of Utility Engineering & Surveying Institute (UESI) members, the organization launched its Project of the Year and Younger Member of the Year awards.
The two new UESI awards will be presented at UESIâs Pipelines 2023 Conference in San Antonio, Texas, Aug. 13-16.
UESI Project of the Year
The award for UESI Project of the Year will allow the Institute to recognize significant achievements made by our members each year. The selection criteria for Project of the Year will include:
⢠Technical Advancement of Innovation in Engineering or Construction
⢠New Milestone or Record
⢠Project Complexity
⢠Project Delivery
⢠Benefits to the Community and Society

UESI Younger Member of the Year
The award for Younger Member of the Year recognizes the most outstanding younger member of UESI. The purpose of this award is to promote excellence within UESI by recognizing the contributions of members 35 and younger.

The deadline for applications, for both awards, is May 15.
The Pipelines 2023 Conference provides a forum for pipeline engineers and practitioners from all around the world to share their experiences in meeting the challenges of today’s pipeline infrastructure. This premier industry event has become the conference of choice for utility and pipeline owners, design and consulting engineers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, students, educators, researchers, and pipeline professionals.
