Spartan Tool Names New President

Spartan Tool is pleased to announce that Kevin Walsh has been named president, effective March 1, 2016. For the past several months, Walsh has been supporting the Pettibone Group as the acting president of Spartan Tool.

Tom Pranka, who had been Spartan Tool president for 18 years, left the company in September 2015.

Walsh has been with the Heico Companies for 22 years, with the last eight years spent as the president of Neo Industries. He has been instrumental in the global development of Neo Industries, opening facilities across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, building Neo Industries into a strong contributor to the Heico Companies. Prior to Neo Industries, Walsh was the general manager of National Standard’s Niles location and president of Pettibone/Traverse Lift. He has also worked at other Heico companies including Field Controls and Davis Wire, and previously worked at Spartan Tool in 1996. Walsh holds a BSBA in International Business and Finance from Georgetown University and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Notre Dame.
