S.E. Intermat, Hanley Wood Partner to Develop World of Concrete Europe

World of Concrete organizer HanleyWood and S.E. Intermat, owner and organizer of the INTERMAT trade shows, aredeveloping World of Concrete Europe.S.E. Intermat, owner and organizer of theINTERMAT trade shows, and Hanley Wood, organizer of World of Concrete, areworking together to create World of Concrete Europe.

The companies announced thememorandum of understanding Nov. 4 paving the way for the worldwide expansionof World of Concrete, which includes World of Concrete Las Vegas (Jan. 21-24and seminars Jan. 20-24) and World of Concrete India, which took place Oct.24-26.

“We are very excited by thispartnership, which is another major step in the worldwide development of Worldof Concrete subsequent to the launch of World of Concrete India,” said TomCindric, vice president of Hanley Wood Exhibitions. “Our Las Vegas show isan annual event with international reach, and so it is only natural for us toget together with one of the construction industry’s leading exhibitions andunite our know-how as organizers.”

Comexposium will manage andorganize World of Concrete Europe. The company is a European leader in eventmanagement and organizer of INTERMAT trade shows. The next INTERMAT shows to beheld will be INTERMAT Middle East in Abu Dhabi from Jan.14-16, 2014, andINTERMAT Paris from April 20-25, 2015.

INTERMAT exhibition directorMaryvonne Lanoë welcomed the agreement: “Comexposium’s Construction businessunit is delighted to have started up this international partnership which willcontribute to the global reach of INTERMAT through one of its headline sectors,the Concrete industry.”

The trade associations CISMA andSEIMAT, members of the S.E INTERMAT Board of Directors, support this move andare contributing their expertise and full involvement.
