Roto-Rooter President Appears in ‘Undercover Boss’
Roto-Rooter’s president and COO Rick Arquilla went undercover in his own plumbing company to find out what it’s like to do some of the toughest jobs at Roto-Rooter. Arquilla swapped out his nice office for a sewer cleaning machine for an episode of the popular TV show Undercover Boss. The episode aired April 4 on CBS.
“We jumped right in,” Arquilla said in article for The Times-Picayune. “I was using the large sewer-cleaning machine, a 300-pound monster we use to clean large sewer lines. We were also using smaller drain-cleaning equipment to do work inside the home, a high pressure water jet, which is a trailer-mounted piece of equipment that runs a few thousands PSIs. And I ran a closed-circuit pipe camera.”
