Trelleborg Strengthens Pipe Seals Team For Growth in North America

Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation has bolstered its North American sales team with the appointment of Matt Resler as key account manager for plastic pipe seals and the promotion of Tim Sparrow to sales director for the region.

The company has strengthened its team in response to increasing demand for its pipe sealing solutions. With further robust growth plans set for the year ahead, Trelleborg is well placed to advise and support its customers and prospects on how to deliver a leak-free, hassle-free pipeline network.

 

“Buried deep underground out of sight, water and sewerage systems have long been ignored,” said Simon Burke, business unit president, Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation. But a renewed and increasing emphasis on water quality and availability is bringing these critical networks under the spotlight, particularly in North America.”

Resler, who joins from The Marvel Group, brings with him more than 15 years of sales management experience and an excellent track record in hunting and growing new markets nationally. Based in Chicago, he will be responsible for driving new business growth and nurturing relationships with existing customers for the company’s plastic pipe seals.

Sparrow joined Trelleborg in 2016 as head of sales for the pipe rehabilitation division, with more than ten years sales management and leadership experience in the construction materials industry. He previously worked at Hilti Inc. In his new role, Sparrow will be responsible for sales of all pipe seal products in North America.
