JDC & Vacuum Truck Rentals Merge to Form Rentix Solutions
JDC (formerly known as Jack Doheny Companies) and Vacuum Truck Rentals (VTR) this week announced their merger to form Rentix Solutions, a national specialty rental platform serving the specialty equipment needs of water and sewer, electric utility, and environmental customers across the United States.
Per the press release, the formation of Rentix Solutions brings together two companies built on the same foundation: specialized equipment expertise, specialty rental capability, and mission-critical service, and a commitment to keeping customers’ operations running. JDC, founded in 1973, has spent 50 years building one of the most respected specialty equipment platforms in the country. VTR, the largest commercial vacuum truck rental company in the United States, has built its reputation on 24/7 availability and the operational depth to be there whenever customers need them — a standard that has earned their trust for more than 25 years.
Rentix Solutions will be led by CEO Payton Lockey, who brings deep operational experience in specialty equipment and a leadership approach built on customer focus, operational excellence, and team culture.

- Rentals. Short- and long-term specialty rental of sewer and vacuum trucks, hydro excavators, aerial boom trucks, air handlers, diggers, drill trucks, and inspection equipment; 36-plus locations; 24/7 support.
- Parts. 300,000-plus SKUs distributed across the branch network. Fast delivery. Expert support. The parts customers need to keep their own fleets running.
- Service. 100-plus certified service bays staffed by trained technicians. Routine maintenance, emergency repair, and 48-hour rental turnaround.
- Sales. New and pre-owned specialty equipment sales. Authorized dealer for multiple product lines including VacAll, Ledwell, Terex, Elliott, Huber, and Rapidview. Serving water and sewer, electric utility, and environmental customers.
The combined Rentix Solutions network spans locations across the United States, with geographic coverage across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Midsouth, South, and West Coast, with continued plans to add further density to its network.

Per the press release, nothing will change for the customers from both JDC and Vacuum Truck Rentals with regards to contacts, equipment and service relationships — but what is added is a deeper depth of the speciality platform behind those interactions.

Also leading Rentix Solutions is COO B.T. Steadman, who brings nearly three decades of experience driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. “Our customers have come to depend on us because we provide the best equipment and we stand beside our customers until the work is done.
