PROJECTS AWARDED: Pure Technologies Wins $2.4M Mexican Contract to Monitor Pipelines
Pure Technologies Ltd. (TSXV:PUR) has announced that it has won a US$2.4 million contract from a Mexican water authority to monitor about 25 km of water pipelines in Mexico City.
The Calgary infrastructure monitoring and inspection company said it had won the contract from the Organismo de Cuenca Aguas del Valle de Mexico, Cutzamela, a local water authority. The two parallel pipelines the Canadian company will monitor provide treated drinking water to roughly 5 million residents of Mexico City or 30 percent of the city’s total population.
Electromagnetic inspections of the Cutzamela pipeline system were previously performed by Pure’s subsidiary The Pressure Pipe Inspection Co.
