PEOPLE: Godwin Pumps Adds Safety Specialist
Godwin Pumps, a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of automatic self-priming pump, recently announced the addition of safety specialist John Hughes to the Godwin Environmental Safety & Health (ESH) team located at its Bridgeport, N.J.-world headquarters.
Hughes will be visiting each of Godwin’s 26 company-owned branch locations on a regular basis to help managers and employees observe and address known and potential hazards in the workplace. He will also assist in the development of safer work habits to promote company-wide improvements in overall safety.
Hughes brings to Godwin Pumps over three decades of experience in manufacturing processes, regulatory compliance, reporting, behavioral safety and best management practices. As safety specialist at Godwin Pumps, his years of expertise will be utilized for training, inspections, and compliance under state and Federal regulatory programs.
