Sandra Diane Bennett passedaway June 13, in Folsom, Calif., after a courageous fight against cancer.Bennett, the wife of David Bennett, Bennett/Staheli Engineers, often traveled toindustry events and was well known in the trenchless community.
She was born in Indianola, Miss., on Dec. 17, 1951. Diane lived in Vicksburgmost of her adult life, before moving to Folsom with her husband in 1999. Sheoperated a small in-home child care center for several years, and continued tonurture many of her small charges into young adults who are now giving back tothe community.
On her recent trip to the No-Dig conference in Orlando, she exhibited graceand charm as she shared important and happy moments with her husband and friendswhile courageously fighting her illness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Sharp, Jr., mother, BobbieNell Griffin, and an infant son, John David. She leaves her husband of 34 years,Robert David Bennett, a son, Jeremy, a daughter, Amy Denise Bennett Boggess,four grandchildren; a sister, Janice Peoples, and a brother, Michael Sharp.
