Great Lakes Trenchless Association to Hold Education & Training Expo Jan. 17-18

The Great Lakes Trenchless Association will hold its annual GLTA Education and Training Expo Jan. 17-18 at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio.

The event will feature two tracks of education for business management and technical training as well as a mud school in conjunction with American Augers. You can find registration information online at: www.greatlakestrenchless.com.

GLTA is also pleased to announce that it has contracted with a professional management group to administer the association’s everyday functions and help with association events including, the Education and Training Expo.

The new staff, headed by executive director Robert Pope, is based out of Dayton Ohio, but works with construction-related groups across the Midwest. Pope is joined by: Valerie Dahlberg, who specializes in connecting the construction industry to its governmental interests; Rachel Pinkus, who coordinates educational and social events; Megan Miller, who manages financial matters; Kate Asbury ,who manages member information and communication; and Linda Neal, who assists in financial and clerical administration.

The Great Lakes Trenchless Association, formerly known as The Ohio Horizontal Directional Drilling Association (OHDDA) serves the diverse interests of the trenchless industry in Ohio and Michigan. Its members, made up of contractors, industry suppliers, and engineers are devoted to promoting professionalism and continuing education and training. The association acts as an active advocate for industry regulatory issues and serves as the voice of the industry on regional issues.
