Editor’s Message – How-To Take 3
Three years ago, the idea for Pipe Cleaning PRO began germinating in the mind of Bernie Krzys, our publisher. He had taken an RV adventure and met with some folks on the trip who worked in the sewer cleaning business. During this conversation, it became clear that our coverage of the sewer and drain cleaning world could grow beyond a section in Trenchless Technology magazine. And with that, the decision was made to create Pipe Cleaning PRO as a spin-off publication of Trenchless Technology. But what could set us apart?

What you’re holding in your hands or reading on a laptop or mobile device is one of those things that set us apart. It’s our third annual How-2-Guide. This issue is jam-packed with a variety of stories that focus on helping you — North America’s sewer and drain cleaning PROfessional — get your job done. Like the Prego commercials of my youth, “It’s in there.”
Considering a fleet management system? We can help.

Time for a new camera truck? Yup, we have a how-to story for that.

That’s only a small portion of our how-to themed coverage in this issue.
Each year, our goal is to switch up the coverage, but remain true to our focus on those in the sewer and drain cleaning and inspection sector. If you scroll through this website and think there is a topic that we are missing, or maybe you’d like to provide expert how-to advice in a future issue, let me know. My contact info can be found in the Share Your Story section of this column. No need to wait until next year either because we try to incorporate one business tips-style story — how-to, HR-focused, marketing, etc. — in each issue. Read those past stories at pipecleaningpro.com.
Share Your Story
Sharing your stories is key to Pipe Cleaning PRO’s mission. It’s simple really — we bring you the best and most in-depth coverage of North America’s sewer and drain cleaning, inspection and repair industry. We want to be the messenger — through our six print issues a year, our website and our social media channels — about the importance of the industry.
To make this happen, we call upon you to interact with us. Whether it be on our social media sites, via a phone call to 330-752-1916 or an email to mkezdi@benjaminmedia.com — we rely on you, our readers, to share your stories and ideas.
Cheers!
