ABRATT and ISTT Brings Brazilian Congress and No-Dig Brazil to San Paulo
April 30, 2015
The Brazilian Association of Trenchless Technology (ABRATT), with the support of the ISTT, will host the V Brazilian Congress on Trenchless Technologies and No Dig Brazil 2015 in São Paulo Aug. 4-6 in the Red Pavilion of Expo Center Norte, together with FENASAN 2015 – the National Fair on Sanitation and The Environment.
Organization and sales are the responsibility of Acqua Consultoria, a company that organizes congresses and fairs on issues involving the environment and infrastructure, and has also been responsible for organizing FENASAN since 2007.
Bringing together two major infrastructure industry fairs is proof of the synergy that exists between AESabesp and ABRATT and strengthens the participation of trenchless technology companies in FENASAN. The purpose is to further consolidate the use of trenchless methods in infrastructure projects in Brazilian cities, with a provably lower economic and social cost. During the Congress and Fair, organizers will showcase the latest in technology and equipment, as well as case studies where work was carried out with minimum disturbance to the daily life of the man in the street.
The event will host professionals from public and private sector companies that provide water and sewage, energy, oil and gas and telecommunication services, designers, executors, contractors, manufacturers of machines and supplies and drilling and geotechniques companies, as well as professors and students from Brazilian universities.
In more than 20 countries worldwide, there are trenchless technology associations under the umbrella of the International Society for Trenchless Technology. ABRATT became a member of this group of entities in 1999, working to disclose and support these technologies, together with universities worldwide, including the University of São Paulo – USP.
