Obituary: Ernest ‘Ernie’ Alexander – Visu-Sewer Founder, Former NASSCO President
Ernest L. “Ernie” Alexander, one of the original founders of Visu-Sewer, died Feb. 15 at the age of 73. He was one of the founding members of NASSCO and served as president in 1985.
In 2003, he was inducted into the NASSCO Select Society of Sanitary Sewer Sleuths, an honor given to him by a group of his peers and by unanimous vote.
Beloved husband of Jean (nee Schraufnagel), for 50 years. Father of Keith (Sandy), Doug (Cindy), Dave (Sara) Alexander, and Nicole (Steve) Wurster. Grandpa of Bri, MaKayla, Grace, Alex, Brad, Nate, Nick, and Elizabeth. Brother of Denny (Niecey) and Art (Bev).
He worked in and was dedicated to the construction industry for over 30 years. He was well respected by all of his peers. He enjoyed golf, hunting, and spending time with his family.
