Pure Technologies Announces New Work Worth $6.5 Million

Pure Technologies Ltd. (TSXV: PUR) has announced new projects with a total value of approximately US$6.5 million. The work associated with these projects encompasses the full range of Pure’s inspection and engineering services for water and wastewater pipelines and includes the following notable contracts:

·   A significant multi-year service contract from Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD), which builds on a previous service contract that was executed in 2010. WASD is one of the largest water utilities in the United States

, servicing the greater Miami-Dade area population.

·   A contract from Arizona Public Service Co. for 37 miles of electromagnetic inspection of a pre-stressed reclaimed water supply pipeline.

·  A leak detection contract in Qatar, the first commercial contract for SmartBall in the Middle East.

“This new work comes as a result of our strategy to diversify our revenues and be less dependent on any one customer” said Pure president and COO Jack Elliott. “We continue to expand our efforts in North America as well as internationally to generate high-value, multi-year program opportunities.”
