Join Us in Celebrating World Trenchless Day 2023
At Benjamin Media — publisher of Trenchless Technology magazine — we LOVE trenchless technology as much as you do, maybe more. We live and breathe it and are always looking for fun, creative and, most importantly, informative ways to promote our industry. But we also aspire to broaden our reach to an even wider audience, one that doesn’t know what the heck trenchless technology is — yet.
That’s why, in 2016, we helped launch World Trenchless Day – a day of celebration that involves everyone who cares about the world’s critical underground infrastructure. It’s a day that brings together the entire trenchless industry — manufacturers, contractors, engineering firms, associations, public works and magazines — to share trenchless technology with the world. The goal is to reach out to those who have not yet realized the impact of trenchless methods on their communities.
What is World Trenchless Day?
World Trenchless Day – celebrated on the fourth Thursday of September – serves as a global celebration that shines a spotlight on all of trenchless’ benefits — safety, economics, environmental, and social. We invite the industry to use social media and the #WorldTrenchlessDay hashtag, to promote the day on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Help raise the awareness around the globe that trenchless technology is the premier conduit in revitalizing and upgrading our underground infrastructure that in most places is well over 100 years old.
The impact that the use of trenchless methods has on communities, the economy and quality of life is immense and will only continue to grow as municipalities and utilities realize and understand their benefits vs. traditional methods.

World Trenchless Day Panel Session Webinar
At 2 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 28, we will host “Trenchless Perspectives Live: Celebrating the Benefits of Trenchless Technology” a free panel session-style webinar that shines a light on how three system owners are using and have benefitted from trenchless technologies.
Attendees will have a chance to ask questions of the panel throughout the webinar.
At the close of the live presentation, we will announce the recipients of the 2023 Trenchless Technology Project of the Year awards. You don’t want to miss this free trenchless event.
