ECWATECH 2010 Nears

ECWATECH — slated for June 1-4 in Moscow at the International Exhibition Center Crocus Expo —  is the biggest water and wastewater forum in Eastern Europe, which presents a wide spectrum of equipment and services for rational use, recovery and protection of water resources, water treatment, municipal and industrial water supply, wastewater treatment, construction and operation of piping systems, water bottling, etc.

ECWATECH – is a complex event in which the key water market players usually participate and the main components of which are the trade fair and the alongside conference program (congress). These two parts of one event allow combining effectively demonstration of leading-edge technologies with hot topics discussion.

ECWATECH is the only specialized water exhibition in Russia and CIS that since 2006 has become “a UFI approved event.”

The results of independent UFI audit concerning the number of participants and visitors of ECWATECH-2008 are as follows:

• 804 exhibitors, including 273 foreign ones from 33 countries
• 16,011 sq. m. of exhibits (net)
• 11,680 visitors, including 1280 foreign ones
• 1,431 congress and specialized conferences participants from 50 countries (according to organizers’ data)

In the last few years, hundreds of international manufacturers and vendors of equipment and materials entered the Russian market, so ECWATECH is a meeting place for all water industry professionals in this sector. ECWATECH-2010 is a must-attend event for international key market players because it has over 8,800 sq m-net booked and another 2,000 sq m reserved as options.

Special information for U.K. companies: the first British Water pavilion at ECWATECH has secured the support of U.K. Trade & Investment, the U.K. government department for international trade. There are also three German pavilions are being prepared (VDMA, GWP and North Rhine-Westphalia).

ECWATECH-2010 will also feature pavillions from Austria, Czech Republic (official participation), Finland and some other countries.
