Casey Pieczonka Joins Prime Resins

Casey Pieczonka has joined Prime Resins Inc. as Florida business development manager. A 15-year veteran of the underground construction and rehabilitation industry, he has managed hundreds of underground infrastructure projects.

Pieczonka is a licensed, certified underground utility and excavating contractor in the state of Florida. He oversaw the installation of more than 1 million lf of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) installation of more than 600,000 lf of pipe via pneumatic/static pipebursting, and the rehabilitation of more than 500 manholes within the state.

His areas of expertise include CIPP rehabilitation, manhole and lift station rehabilitation, construction administration, sanitary/storm sewer pipe evaluation, spray-applied coatings, dewatering and more. Some of his notable trenchless rehab projects include:

  • Project manager, MacDill Air Force Base storm drain repairs, Tampa, including CIPP, manhole rehab, soil stabilization and trench drain installation

  • Project engineer, $380 million JEA high volume pipebursting project, Jacksonville, Fla.

  • Assistant project manager, $6.2 million Jammes Road water and sewer improvements, Jacksonville, installation of new sanitary sewer and water mains with microtunneling

  • Assistant project manager, annual sanitary pipe rehabilitation, City of St. Petersburg, Fla.

  • Project manager, $1.47 million Fourth Creek Basin find and fix project, Knoxville, Tenn., remove and replace manholes, point repair, rehab manholes and rehabilitate sanitary pipe via CIPP


Prior to joining Prime Resins, Pieczonka held business development and project management roles with All South Underground LLC; SAK Construction; National Pipe Services and Insituform Technologies Inc. Pieczonka is a board member for the Suncoast Utility Contractors Association and the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Utility Contractors Association.

Prime Resins Inc. is a leading manufacturer of infrastructure repair chemicals, including polyurethane and acrylate grouts, epoxies, and mineral and polyurea coatings. Prime Resins products are used for leak sealing, soil stabilization, foam slab lifting, coating and lining, and structural repair. Its headquarters are in the Atlanta area.
