JHL Rebrands to Bucher Municipal, Launches RECycler 208 Sewer Cleaner
For several years, J. Hvidtved Larsen A/S (JHL) products have played a central role in securing a sustainable environment and a profitable business for its North American customers.
In 2016, JHL became a part of Bucher, a global technology group with a leading market position within cleaning and clearing operations. The company recently announced that it is now fully merged with Bucher and marked the occasion with a name change to Bucher Municipal in North America.
For JHL, now Bucher Municipal, customers this means only benefits. Bucher Municipal will keep the same high-quality products and add a significantly increased service network, as well as the innovation and development input that comes from a parent corporation with more than 200 years of experience in industrial manufacturing.
The Bucher RECycler
In the 1980s, JHL launched the first water recycling unit in Europe. With tank capacities ranging from 8 cubic yards to 15 cubic yards, as well as low fuel consumption, low noise levels and a high residual value, the water recycling units are among the most widely used in Europe. Today, these units fall under the RECycler lineup.
In 2012, the company launched the first product built for the North American market. The RECycler 315 – a three-axle, 15 cubic yard unit – that changed the game for how water recycling units were perceived. It brings continuous recycling, impressive power and little maintenance due to its high level of engineering.
Growing off of that, Bucher Municipal recently launched its RECycler 208. The compact unit – with two axles and an 8 cubic yard tank – has the same capabilities of a large recycling units and the maneuverability of a smaller truck.
The RECycler 208 responds the highest business and environmental demands just as well as its larger counterpart, the RECycler 315. This world-class technology provides operators with increased flexibility and greater area of use by means of a movable partition and by allowing the operator to turn off the recycling system when needed. This is accomplished while keeping Do all this while keeping the emissions and water consumption low.
With this compact but powerful unit, operators will have increased efficiency and production in hard to access locations.
The RECycler 208’s system is fully automatic enabling the operator to reduce fuel consumption on a daily basis. It is mounted on a Kenworth T880 chassis and comes with an 8 cubic yard tank, a jetting capacity of 54 gallons per minute at 2,320 psi, a CVS VacuStar 1300 vacuum pump, and an Uraca P3-15 jetting pump.
