The 2010 Golden Beavers Award winners were recognized at the 55th Annual Beavers Awards Dinner Jan. 22 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The winners were Jim Waltze of Griffith Company (Management Award), Dutch Vliegenthart of J.F. Shea Construction Co. Inc. (Supervision Award), Lee A. McIntire of CH2M Hill (Engineering Award) and Al Fernandez of Volvo Construction Equipment and Sales (Service/Supply Award).

The Beavers is a social, honorary organization formed, organized and managed by the construction companies and individuals who are or have engaged in heavy engineering construction. The Beavers was founded in 1955.

The purpose of the Beavers is to promote goodwill, friendliness and consideration within the heavy engineering construction industry; to give recognition to those men and women who have demonstrated particular skill, responsibility and integrity; and to encourage and support entry of promising young individuals into heavy engineering construction.
