Aegion Corp. Celebrates First Leadership Development Program Graduates

Aegion Corp., the North American leader in technology-enabled water solutions, is proud to announce the inaugural graduating class of the Aegion University Leadership Development Program (LDP).

On Jan. 31 – after more than five months of programming – the 20 members of the first ever LDP cohort gathered in Tampa, Florida, to celebrate the culmination of their hard work. Members of the executive team and senior leaders from across Aegion joined the participants as they presented final projects and took part in a graduation ceremony.

Aegion University was established in 2023 to formalize and institutionalize the company’s dedication to employees – from boots-on-the-ground team members to managers and executives. The five-month LDP program is designed to develop managers in their current role while building a pipeline for the next generation of company leadership.

In partnership with Harvard Business School (HBS), participants hone general management skills with peers from a broad range of industries; develop financial skills; focus on a deep understanding of core business requirements; and establish KPIs.

Classes complete online HBS coursework and assigned reading; the group meets in person three times at Aegion HQ, manufacturing, and R&D sites with senior leadership as well as members of the board.

“The Aegion University Leadership Development Program is an investment in our employees and an opportunity to engage with future leaders as well as new employees from acquisitions who will join as participants and instructors,” said Rob Tullman, CEO, Aegion. “I am proud of our first LDP graduates and look forward to working with our second cohort beginning this month.”

In addition to LDP, Aegion University hosts an annual Supervisor Safety & Quality Training (SSQT). This week-long course brings operations, manufacturing, R&D and commercial teams together annually for best practices and technology sharing with more than 100 supervisors, field engineers, and project managers.
