World Trenchless Day Sweepstakes Winner Announced

We have a winner!
CDM Smith environmental engineer Ajay Shrivastav, P.E., ENV SP, is the winner of Trenchless Technology’s World Trenchless Day (WTD) Sweepstakes.
The WTD Sweepstakes was hosted by Trenchless Technology and was generously sponsored by Akkerman, Applied Felts, Michels Corp., Maxliner, NASTT and Vortex Companies. The Sweepstakes generated more than 400 entries throughout the year, with the drawing held on World Trenchless Day.
Shrivastav’s prize package includes: one free conference registration to NASTT’s No-Dig Show, April 5-9, 2020; a ticket to attend the annual No-Dig Show Gala Awards Banquet Dinner on April 7; standard room accommodations at the host hotel for up to four nights and up to $500 for airfare to Denver.

Shrivastav will be attending his first ever NASTT No-Dig Show. He has worked on trenchless projects for water transmission mains in El Paso, Texas, and is excited to learn more about large-diameter tunneling, condition assessment and pipeline rehabilitation at the conference.
At CDM Smith, Shrivastav works in the areas of planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment systems. His experience includes large diameter water transmission pipelines, wastewater collection systems, wastewater treatment plants, and groundwater wells.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India, and his master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University – College Station, Texas. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and an Envision Sustainability Professional.
