Blacksburg, Va., home of Virginia Tech University, will be the location of the first Trenchless Road Show in 2010. The dates are March 9-10. As an added bonus, a Water Utility Infrastructure Management (UIM) Water/Wastewater Conference will be held March 10 in conjunction with the Road Show.
Dr. Sunil Sinha, professor in civil engineering, will be overseeing the development of the agenda and speakers. He will be working closely with the NASTT Virginia Tech student chapter. Virginia Tech’s nationally ranked civil engineering program and strong regional draw will be major factors in bringing attendees to the event.
Virginia Tech is very involved in trenchless research, as well as water and wastewater asset management. Sinha has conducted with the EPA asset management workshops, including meeting at Virginia Tech’s Alexandria, Va. location. A blend of this experience and the mountains of Virginia will provide for an excellent Road Show/UIM Conference. For information on this event go to the Web at: www.trenchlesstechnology.com/trs.
