Vermeer Mfg., ASU Partner for HDD Course for Engineers & Managers
The Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University andVermeer Mfg. Co. will be offering a course on “Horizontal Directional Drillingfor Engineers & Managers” on April 24-25, in Chandler, Ariz.
Participants in this two-day course will gain insight into the engineeringaspects of directional drilling projects for urban environments and learn aboutthe steps and software for planning such projects. Additionally, eachparticipant will have the opportunity to operate an HDD rig and perform thelocating function to gain a better understanding of the process in the field.Baroid IDP and Digital Control Inc. are contributing sponsors of the course.Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided through Arizona StateUniversity.
