Trenchless Technology Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund Raises $33,000
Trenchless Technology magazine put out the call to raise funds forthose in need after Hurricane Katrina last fall and the trenchless communityanswered by donating $33,000 to the American Red Cross.
Making significant donations to the fund were Duke’s Root Control Inc., onbehalf of NASSCO and the North American Trenchless Technology Society (NASTT),and. HOBAS Pipe USA. Other contributing companies were Benjamin Media Inc.,Danby of North America Inc., Earth Tool Co., NASSCO, Serimer Dasa North America,Trent M. Ralston, Proline Pipe Equipment Inc. and ISCO Industries.
“All the funds were donated to the American Red Cross. We are more thanpleased with the response we received, says Bernard Krzys, publisher ofTrenchless Technology. “The trenchless community heeded the call and generouslydonated funds to help those who needed it the most.”
