Registration Open for Virtual Pipelines 2020 Conference
Registration is now open for the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI) Pipelines 2020 Conference. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, UESI and the conference steering committee made the decision to cancel the in-person event and pivot the conference to a virtual experience.
Set to take place Aug. 10-13, the theme of the virtual event is “Pipeline Engineering – Resiliency in Infrastructure.” The conference organizers are now collectively working together with speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers to reshape the existing content and transform the UESI Pipelines 2020 into a virtual delivery. Registration for the full conference is $245 for ASCE/UESI members, $145 for speaker members, $75 for life members, $75 for student members, $380 for non-members and $280 for speaker non-members. The registration for government/municipal attendees is free.
Daily rates are $160 for members, $90 for speak members, $45 for life members and $45 for students, $225 for non-members and $155 for speaker non-members.
Discounted student rate is available to ASCE student members with active 2020 membership. Student membership is free. To become an ASCE Student Member, no matter what degree you are pursuing, or to renew your student membership, go to asce.org/membership/student/.
If you are a Student Scholarship winner, registration instructions will be sent to you that will include a code. At the end of your online registration, apply the promo code on the payment page for the complimentary conference registration.
The speaker/moderator registration deadline is July 10 and applies to all accepted authors, including student members.
If you are a Public Sector Scholarship winner, registration instructions will be sent to you that will include a code. At the end of your online registration, apply the promo code on the payment page for the complimentary conference registration.
U.S. government/municipal employees who will not be part of the Public Sector Scholarship program are eligible for free admission to this event. To register with the discount, call 800-548-2723 or submit paper registration form (PDF) to registrations@asce.org or via fax to 1-866-902-5593. State university employees are not eligible for the Government Rate.
Rates for the pre-conference workshops — Seismic Design of Buried Water & Wastewater Pipelines and Thrust Restraint Design of Buried Pipelines – is $45 for each. Attendees must be registered for the Conference (full or daily) to be able to register for the pre-conference workshops.
A confirmation will be emailed to all advance registrants for the Conference. A non-transferable password-protected participation link will also be sent to all registrants. You must use the same email address that you used to register to participate in the virtual event.
