Pure Technologies Continues Growth, Expansion Plans
November 1, 2008
Pure Technologies, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a world leader in the development and application of innovative technologies for inspection, monitoring, and management of physical infrastructure, recently announced an aggressive expansion of its Columbia, Md. office. The expansion commenced in the early part of 2008 and is scheduled to continue through the first quarter of 2009.
The expansion translates to an increase in Pure’s U.S. workforce by approximately 400 percent, from five to 20 employees. The move will help to ensure that Pure maintains its position as the largest organization of its kind in terms of its work force figures, as well as corporate revenue and industry market share.
“We realize that in order to remain responsive to the demands of our clients and grow our business, an expansion of the U.S. operations was essential. We are finding that an increasing number of infrastructure managers are using condition assessment and monitoring as part of their standard operating procedures for proactively managing infrastructure. We expect more growth in this area and, with this expansion, Pure is well positioned to meet the demand,” said Mark Holley, president of Pure Technologies US Inc.
Pure Technologies anticipates the expansion will further increase its ability to expand the amount of work currently being conducted for existing clients and open substantial new business opportunities in North America, as well as abroad.
Pure Technologies is an international technology company that has developed patented technologies for inspection, monitoring and management of critical infrastructure around the world.
