Peninsular, WinCan End Litigation

Peninsular Technologies LLC and WinCan America Inc. recently announced thatthey have ended litigation over Peninsular’s patents with a mutually acceptablesettlement, according to a press release.
WinCan America will make available to clients a new WinCan software moduletitled “digital bookmarking.” Peninsular will license to WinCan America itspatented technology for this module.
In reaching the settlement, no party conceded the correctness of the otherparty’s assertions in the litigation. The parties say in the press release thatthey are pleased with the resolution of this dispute, the details of which areto remain confidential.
