NOLA Welcomes WEFTEC 2018 – Trenchless Product Preview
SEALING SYSTEMS INC.
Sealing Systems Inc. is the manufacturer and distributor of quality products for sustaining and maintaining municipal sewer systems by preventing inflow and infiltration. Our product line includes manhole chimney seals, joint seals, manhole inserts, rubber risers, cementitous repair material and Aqua Seal, which is a fast reacting chemical grout able to stop 50 gpm leaks. Infi-Shield Uni-band is an EPDM rubber external seal that provides a permanent, flexible, watertight seal between the manhole casting and the concrete cone. Infi-Shield Gator Wrap is made of a stretchable, self-shrinking, intra-curing halogenated based rubber seal and it is designed to seal joint sections in manholes, catch basins and many other types of concrete joints. Flex-Seal is an internal brush applied urethane seal which has a remarkable 800 percent elongation. Get the facts about how our products will not only save your community money but also gain effective wastewater capacity quickly and affordably. Booth #3909
SEWER EQUIPMENT
The JAJ-600 easement machine series extends the reach of your jetting truck by more than 500 ft when trying to access hard to reach manholes where your truck is not able to go. The JAJ also supports operators with its automatic level wind, which pays the hose in and out automatically, eliminating the need to manually drag hose across easements or environmentally sensitive areas to avoid damaging the grounds. Its standard rotating hose reel provides operators the ability to line up with hard to reach manholes when maneuverability is limited. Offered in two configurations, the JAJ-600WH comes mounted on extendable tracks to easily move through 36-in. gates while providing superior lateral stability for off-road terrain. The JAJ-600SK mounts the same rotating reel assembly on a skid, which can be used with an existing skid steer tractor equipped with a fork attachment. The JAJ-600 easement machine: simple, compact and effective.

SEWER HISTORY EXHIBIT
Over the past 20 years, Jon Schladweiler, the Historian of the Arizona Water Association, has researched and collected materials related to the history of sewage conveyance systems. Many of these artifacts are displayed in NASSCO’s Sewer History Exhibit. The impressive collection of sewer history materials covers the era from approximately 3500 BCE through the 1930s CE. This display of materials about the evolutionary development of sewers over the past 5,500 years offers some insight into the history of sewers and the role its operators, engineers and builders have played in making our environment, homes and communities better and healthier places to live. SHERWIN-WILLIAMS
Sharing innovative solutions for the industry’s greatest challenges, Sherwin-Williams will highlight Sher-Loxane 800 and Dura-Plate 6100. Sher-Loxane 800 is a versatile, high-performance polysiloxane coating offering enhanced durability and aesthetics, as well as cost savings by eliminating one step of the overall coating system. The smooth, finished product delivers long-term asset protection in the most aggressive service conditions, including resisting attack from mold, mildew, and algae in immersion service. The cured coating’s low surface energy prevents such organic growth from taking hold, maintaining aesthetics and a high-gloss finish for steel and concrete applications, including water tanks and chlorine contact chambers. Dura-Plate 6100 is a 100 percent solids high-build, high physical performance, amine-cured epoxy capable of film builds in excess of 125 mils in a single application. Providing corrosion protection of concrete and steel, the epoxy is suited for lining and rehabilitating sewer collection and wastewater treatment structures in severe wastewater service environments. SPECTRASHIELD
SpectraShield is the only polymeric lining system of its type designed specifically for wastewater structures. First introduced in 1993, SpectraShield has earned the confidence of major municipal utility owners and multinational engineering firms for over 25 years. In addition to preventing corrosion and stopping infiltration, SpectraShield restores structural integrity with a semi-flexible “stress skin panel” effect. Unlike competing products, SpectraShield is not susceptible to cracking with common ground movement conditions like freeze/thaw, wet/dry and traffic loading. Because of its ease of application and rapid curing, project costs and interferences are minimized. SpectraShield has been independently assessed to have a 100-year design life and tested extensively for adhesion, corrosion performance and resistance to hydrostatic pressure. SpectraShield’s proven track record is now evident in thousands of structures throughout the U.S. and abroad, covering over 7.5 million sq ft. Booth #7729
