Like McGuire, Mueller is a respected veteran in the HDD industry and at Michels and has worked for 31 years at Michels. Mueller started as a skilled laborer and rose through the ranks to drilling survey technician, field operations superintendent and operations manager, a role he took on in 2003.

Mueller has been intrinsically involved in all facets of Michels’ HDD operations, from equipment development and jobsite coordination to bid estimating and employee training. Under his guidance, Michels has completed some of the longest,most-challenging record-setting HDD projects in North America.

“I can think of no one more capable than Jeff to take the reins of our relentless pursuit of operational and safety success in trenchless construction,” said Pat Michels, president and CEO. “He is a proven leader who will guide our teams to achieve great accomplishments in the years to come.”
