JM Eagle Launches New Website

JM Eagle, the world’s largest manufacturer of plastic pipe, has launched a new website — truthaboutpipes.com — dedicated to educating engineers and municipal decision-makers.

The website features articles on topics important for our nation’s infrastructure such as longevity and durability of material, ease of installation, financial costs and environmental impact.

“Truthaboutpipes.com will highlight the many benefits of plastic pipe vs. alternative materials,” said Neal Gordon, JM Eagle vice president of marketing and waterworks Sales. “Decision-makers will be able to read unbiased articles, essays, reports and studies about the advantages of plastic pipe.”

The website offers a wide range of information and tools to help municipalities across the nation make informed decisions, including key subjects like the cost of corrosion, pipe material break rates and a cost comparison calculator PVC vs. ductile iron showing a notable

37 percent savings to taxpayers. The website also highlights new technologies in plastic pipe: internal joint restraints (e.g. Eagle Loc C900), Ultra Blue PVCO, Eagle Corr PE, and Eagle Green PE.

With 20 manufacturing plants throughout North America, JM Eagle manufactures the widest array of high-grade, high-performance polyvinyl chloride and high-density polyethylene pipe across a variety of industries and applications including utility, solvent weld, electrical conduit, natural gas, irrigation, potable water and sewage.
