IFAT Trade Show Announces April 2005 Show


IFAT 2005, the worlds leading trade show for wastedisposal and the environment, will run April 25-29, in Munich, and feature anexpanded program including innovative sector-specific products andstate-of-the-art technology in the water, sewage and waste-disposal industries.

Messe Munchen International, show organizer, anticipates an increase inthe number of international exhibitors for this years show, which will featurean expanded range of exhibition themes and a larger program of related events,including new segments on noise reduction, soundproofing and air-pollutioncontrol. Messe Munchen International will expand the water supply and wastedisposal categories to reflect ongoing globalization, as well as recent trendstoward private service providers and the use of innovative hardware. This year,the exhibits will cover 1.78 million sq ft at the New Munich Trade FairCenter.

IFAT has become the biggest global resource for visitors from thepublic sector, business, industry, local government and private serviceproviders to discover new developments and gain the latest market information onenvironmental protection. IFAT 2002 welcomed 97,000-plus visitors from 121countries marking an increase in foreign attendance of 70 percent over IFAT1999, with U.S. attendance up by 110 percent.
