Dr. Lueke Re-joins Associated Engineering

Dr. Jason Lueke rejoins Associated Engineering as its  trenchless technology practice leader for the company’s Canadian operations following a three and a half-year appointment as an assistant professor and sustainability scientist at Arizona State University.

Based in the Edmonton office, Lueke brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in trenchless technologies, including pipe bursting, horizontal drilling, cured-in-place relining, auger boring, jacking, tunneling and microtunneling. He offers the benefits of his experience from the consulting, construction and research environments from his prior role with Associated Engineering as discipline lead of trenchless technology, his past position as a project manager for a Calgary-based trenchless utility contractor, and his research activities at the University of Alberta and Arizona State University in trenchless construction and rehabilitation methods.
Lueke has been an active member of NASTT for more than 13 years and has had leadership roles in the Northwest and Western Regional Chapters of NASTT. He currently serves on the board of directors of NASTT; is a volunteer instructor for the Lateral Sewer Rehabilitation, Horizontal Directional Drilling and Pipe Bursting best practices courses; and was the inaugural recipient of the NASTT Trent Ralston award in 2010 for early-career achievement in the trenchless industry.
