7th Annual HDD Academy Convenes in Scottsdale
The 7th annual Horizontal Directional Drilling Academy (HDD Academy) took place June 10-11 at the SkySong Center at Arizona State University in Scottsdale, Arizona.
More than 60 attendees enjoyed this two-day intensive course driven by HDD experts. The first day of the course focused on reflections of HDD, HDD design and estimating, drilling fluids. At the conclusion of the first day of the course attendees visited the Riot House for a networking reception.
The second day of the course focused on the technology advancements and field technology innovations in HDD. Attendees left the course equipped with knowledge of horizontal directional drilling pre-construction, design and material selection, construction and operations.
The HDD Academy is present by Benjamin Media Inc. â publisher of Trenchless Technology and North American Oil & Gas Pipelines â and Arizona State Universityâs Del E. Webb School of Construction.
