Water, Wastewater Pros Returning to WWETT Show in Indy
Trenchless professionals looking to get up to date on the latest in sewer and drain inspection, cleaning and repair products will be happy to know that the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show (WWETT Show) 2022 is set to go live Feb. 21-24 at the Indiana Convention Center.
Here are some key points for those coming to Indianapolis to network with their peers and get an up-close look at the latest trenchless industry offerings.
Health & Safety
Informa Markets, the show’s owner, is guided by Informa AllSecure, a detailed set of measures developed collaboratively with industry associations, event organizers and venues. The WWETT Show aims to deliver the highest levels of hygiene and safety at its event, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.
WWETT Show 2022 will follow all local health guidelines. Additionally, there will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue, as well as an enhanced sanitation schedule, hospital-grade air filters and widened aisles to promote physical distancing.
“We are in close partnership and communication with the City of Indianapolis and local health officials for their expertise and guidance and will continue to keep you updated on any changes to our health and safety program moving forward,” noted a press release from the WWETT Show.

Set to take place Feb. 22, from 5-8- p.m., this year’s party is at The Pavilion a Pan AM, 201 S. Capitol Ave., a short walk from the convention center.

Organizers note that there are more than 100 sessions spanning the four days and covering a wide variety of industry and professional topics, and all are included with a full education package.
Sessions are led by top industry experts and professionals from leading associations, businesses and manufacturers. And many sessions count toward fulfilling required continuing educational units (CEUs) and professional development hours (PDHs).

The SPiDER Scanner is the first wireless and color manhole inspection technology in a lightweight and compact form factor. The SPiDER is a scanner which can calculate its position in the manhole shaft by using its sensor data to measure its incremental motion instead of the payout cable. SPIDER weighs less than 30 pounds and can be hand carried to easements or other previously difficult to access sites. This wireless portability is possible because the processing computer and battery supply are built into the scanner.
SPIDER collects millions of three-dimensional (3D) measurements during each manhole inspection so the manhole can be measured to less than 5 mm accuracy.
